Online Filing of Returns
 

All registered dealers under the HP GST Act/CST Act can now file their Sales Tax Returns ON LINE  through a secured facility provided on this web-site. 

The first step in this direction is to apply for a unique password.

You only need to deposit your tax within the time frame prescribed under the Act/ Rules. Since Digital Signatures are still very expensive and not readily available, you will still need to send a follow-up signed copy. Well, you do not need to all the hard labour again for preparing a signed copy. You may just take a print-out of your online return, append your signatures and simply mail the same to the concerned Assessing Authority.

As soon as your signed copy is received, we will validate the relevant record submitted by you  Online. Thus you do not need to stand in long queues only to catch up with the dead-line of the quarter/ month as the date of submission of your Online Return will be accepted for the purpose of limitation, if the Signed Return follows up in reasonable time.  That will not only save your valuable time, but also save you the botheration of visiting the tax office time and again. And then you are sure that correct data is fed in our computerised data-base of returns.
